Very boring, same work over and over....nothing new to learn for experienced techs.
My immediate lead tech is just out of high school ( i have 25 years in IT)...unacceptable.
Manager undercut pay of multiple employees then was fired for having high turnover rate.
PAY way below industry standards for the work being performed. The Microsoft folks get paid three times as much as the ATOS people for doing the same work.
Work is always behind due to inexperience of the teams, most of the leads are very young and in over their heads.
The job announcement said work with state of the art equipment, except it neglected to say all you will be doing is racking the equipment and plugging in some cables. You never get to access or load any data to the equipment, that is all done by remote techs that guess what get paid 2-3 time more that we do. Announcement was misleading but in an area where this is located it is the best IT job around even if it is not really IT works. Heck some of the new folks have no IT experience at all on guy was an auto mechanic. Since i have been there several folks have left for better positions and I am currently looking too.
