      Desktop Support Engineer supporting Atos clients.

      Pros

      Worked at several different sites as in IT Support The client company's were great environments with great people and very good learning experiences.

      Cons

      Atos is extremely cheap when it comes to pay rates and benefits. Upper management is poor at best, and in my 6 years with the company 5 of those years we were forced to take furloughs anywhere from 3 to 7 days because they "weren't making the projected numbers". Mid-level management is worse, treating their underlings almost like children.

      Pros

      Work from home, where the position allows and the manager does not care

      Cons

      Adjusted vacation policy to delay 5-week benefit until after 10 years employment. 401(k) distribution now in a lump sum, at the end of 2015. No cost-of-living increase nor bonuses awarded for the last 3 years I have been here. No real opportunity to advance career or learn new skills.
