Cannot stay long time. Less carrier opportunities

I was hired at a time when the company would have known there would be no positions open at the location I applied for and proceeded to string me along for eight months before threatening to fire me if I didn't relocate to another location in a week. On top of that, if I had done so, the company would have been able to keep moving me in order to build up the debt I would have owed them for relocation fees! Communication with my assigned manager was absolutely terrible; he almost never returned my calls or emails, and when he did, the replies were incredibly vague and generic. Additionally, I was never given any point of contact in the company outside of the one manager, so most of the time I had absolutely no idea what was going on.
