      Pros

      You will have life time experience of bad management. If you are lucky you will get some good people who is surviving here.

      Cons

      Modern day slavery. Engagement Managers who is working in in Syntel since more than 5-10 years are pathetic. If you are on H1B then you may end up US career with Syntel. They will force you to relocate frequently, even you are with family. However this company is CMMI 5, but there is no process. You should have personal relationship with higher management and HR for anything. I will not recommend any company to continue Syntel as vendor because final impact will be on client.

      Pros

      The best thing is only the peers and team members who embody the the spirit and help you stay sane and believe things just might improve

      Cons

      Team management and addressing the concerns is the abysmal. The sheer way the Management makes you commit to Client's requirements and later ignores them is astounding to say the least. Syntel probably has the worst support staff (HR, Finance, Admin, etc)
