Lack of direction from leadership

Pros

Certain departments and people are nice to work with. Good health insurance options and 401K match.

Cons

Most of upper management is compromised of friends who simply are not leaders and are there what it seems like a check. It took them roughly 6 months to create a commission plan for sales so sales had no commission in the meantime. Leaders were constantly asking the workers below on how the business operated because they needed help to understand what the business did. It was very unorganized and a big political game of keeping your job once the company was bought out by Thoma bravo.

Pros

- Fully remote. However, this is now changing. - Decent PTO. - Decent Pay. - Achievements will look great on your CV no matter what department you're in. - There are a few genuine people.

Cons

- Soulless machine full of typical corporate politics. - Toxic individuals in management and senior management. - Lack of common courtesy and respect. - You have to play the corporate game. - Your work doesn't speak for itself, your ability to be liked and how people perceive you to perform is more important. - As per my headline, you'll most likely be made redundant when the business deems it no longer needs you. I've watched some really good people lose their jobs and the remaining employees stay to pick up the slack. - Effects on health. - Anyone not within a US team or location is a 2nd class employee. - People are constantly off sick which is no surprise.
