      Audible's Activate Caring Program is no joke

      Pros

      If you are looking to get a job that encourages you to participate in community events (on their dime) that actually mean something, this is a big plus. If you are looking for a job that brings smiles to whole neighborhoods in need, all while paying you, you will love it here. You will be challenged to excel and be recognized for it. you will need to step out of your comfort zone. I view that as a pro. Every day at Audible is fun. Some are just more funner than others.

      Cons

      You have to work for your pay. This is how they pay for the free lunch which is an instant raise in pay since you no longer need to go out for lunch.. you work at a high level with very intelligent people. Be prepared to be challenged. Some people view this as a con. I view it as a plus. It is never boring. ever. again, Every day at Audible is fun. Some are just more funner than others. It depends on your outlook on life.

      Pros

      Opportunity to work for a big brand . Is multi cultural work environment . Free food on Friday

      Cons

      Not the best place to work if you are looking for a full time contract . Great to work only as a student. But salary is less . just 12 € what ever work you do .

      Strong focus on values and mission

      Pros

      Audible has great benefits through Amazon - health plans, commuter reimbursements, complex salary structures that ensure pay equity. Audible-specific perks: free food (three places/menus to choose from now that there are three offices), barista, creative spaces to work alone or collaborate, Newark $500 (if you live in Newark, you can get $500 per month), Happy Hours, and much more... but most importantly, there's an evident desire to help the communities we work in. There are many mission-driven people who are supportive and helpful, something you only see at a start-up or a non-profit.

      Cons

      Although I see this is a "Con" usually mentioned by a few others, depending on how someone views change, this can be more of a "Pro". There are many functions and roles that still need defining; due to being part of a fast paced industry, there are changes in structure and direction in order to stay competitive - this is not different from any other successful company. Overall, the biggest change has been growth - which is definitely not a bad thing.
