Pros

- parent company is Amazon and you can learn from that space a lot - office has nice view - office management is good, nice view of the city - some very smart folks if you can find them in the giant corporate environment

Cons

- in certain departments folks have no choice but to do little to nothing on a daily basis given painfully slow work pace; talents are wasted not developed - lots empty talk and no action to facilitate and invest in employee growth and happiness - the treehouse fraternity mindset of some teams stymies open collaboration and proper workplace culture - little space to innovate - very risk-averse and like to create such make beliefs to justify said slow pace - little to no clue about competitive landscape

Changes Are Needed

Pros

The product is interesting and inspiring. You get exposed to a lot at even a lower level. Free lunch and happy hour Fridays make it a fun place to work.

Cons

Decisions change often, and employees are micromanaged. They say they want employees to speak up but they don't mean it, old-fashioned leaders trying to be hip. Senior leaders are leaving.

Pros

Work from home 3 out of 5 days. The ability to work from anywhere up to 4 weeks. However, the pros are becoming limited.

Cons

The company's strategy and vision are lacking, with executive leadership only showing up at quarterly town hall meetings. The COO's behavior is concerning, as he is known to be a bully who talks down to people. His leadership style, described as dictatorship, has led to many employees leaving the company.
