      Amazon shares Looks good on the CV People in general are nice which is the only reason I wouldn't give 1*

      Cons

      Don't be fooled by stuff like free food, table tennis or even flexible working because the working culture in general stinks. Senior management routinely knock back new ideas and thinking. They are happy to rest on their laurels. People management is dire, with a lot of vague or conflicting feedback and no clarity of direction.There's a very prominent core clique heavily invested in self-congratulatory nonsense and telling peoplehow amazing they are. If you talk the talk and fall in with this group, you are far more likely to be successful than if you actually get your job done. It's all politics and playing games. Staff turnover has been very high for quite a while considering there's barely 100 people. I will be leaving at the earliest opportunity.

      Pros

      Audible has a lot going for it. Everybody loves the product. Great culture. Meaningful mission. Work hard, with good work-life balance. Amazing perks, benefits, and excellent compensation, including Amazon stock.

      Cons

      Senior leaders are not as in touch with reality as they think they are.
