Not great if you are part of Customer Service

Pros

The general stuff that everyone else said. Free food, Free snacks, RSUs, Great transit perks, casual environment.

Cons

If you are part of the Customer Service organization don't bank on getting any promotions while folks within the other part of the company move up and have promotions handed to them like free samples at Costco. You could do amazing work and own multiple tools and processes but if you don't contribute to the "bottom line" it doesn't make a difference. Plus there is a such a ceiling because of little hierarchy in the organization so it's impossible to report to the same level as you. Overall, try to avoid this part of the business.

Pros

- As everyone else mentioned free food and Amazon RSUs

Cons

- NOT an engineering culture. If that is what you want, look elsewhere. - Fairly regular reorgs. They desperately move people around hoping it will solve management problems and it changes things for a couple of months and then they realize it is just as bad. - A lot of sitting and waiting for management to make decisions - Dozens of people need to have 5-10 meetings for decisions to be made. - Constant "land grab". People are quick to look for credit and quicker to avoid blame. - Duplicating work. So many times I would get half way to a developed feature to find out it was developed by a different team months ago - Bad communication. No one knows what other teams are doing. - If you are unhappy they will shuffle you to a different team where you slowly realize it's just as bad and you need to stick it out to get your RSUs. - For some reason one of these reviews mentions being excited to start? so people are writing reviews before they even work here?
