      Pros

      Good direct manager Felt empowered to make decisions Lively drinking culture Work on some of the best audio projects Work/Life Balance (because there is very little to do) CEO seems like a good person - sends strong all staff emails on issues that impact them, works hard to regenerate Newark. If you just want to go somewhere and coast and take the amazing shares then this is the place, but if you ever want to feel like you're having an impact or doing stuff then it's a no.

      Cons

      Projects drag on and on and on. Senior management are left to make the ultimate decision and wildly pivot about not making decisions. Very celebratory of average work. Disorganised compared to Amazon and weird culture where they press that even though they are part of Amazon they 'still have startup culture'. Sadly that just means nothing ever gets done. Extreme lack of diversity, everyone is the same. HR don't care. Tech and Non Tech barely interact so issues obviously arise.

      Micromanagement in seemingly ALL departments! No work life balance. working from home in accounting? Forget about it! Antiquated work process! Slow to implement improvements. "Make the donuts" type of attitude even though they say they don't want that as a culture. Get ready to print print print and pass paper around for signatures! Management sets bad precedence with work expectations, including mandatory OT after PTO and/or working while on PTO Top heavy in almost all departments No chance to advance your career Titles are a scam, Director and VP titles are handed out like candy! And NO ONE Works! You may have manager in your title but have 0 reports. Everyone is alwaysed backed up and missing deadlines asking for exceptions! Low morale from over worked under appreciated employees. You will get trapped in a position if you don't become buddy buddy with the right manager.
