Pros

You manage your time, and because of that, you need to have discipline. If no then it is probably you will not fulfill the tasks. A lot to learn because each project uses different tools and technologies, so you need to get use to self-study new technologies (which I like to do), so, if you are use to follow and wait for orders this job is not for you. Be proactive No boring meetings. Ideal to contractors who want room for extra freelance jobs

Cons

If you stay in same position in a single project there is no salary raises, even if you got great experience in that project. So, the only option is to apply to another position and it is almost sure you are going to transfer to another project, even if you like your current project.

Pros

Aurea is a virtual-based company so it offers the flexibility of choosing location and working hours. Projects are challenging and there lots of new technologies to learn. Salary is competitive.

Cons

I cannot find any real cons. Maybe the fact that every one works from home does not offer the opportunity for real team bonding.

Pros

A company that takes a radically different approach designed to fix broken software companies. Most of the people with negative comments on here fail to recognize one important fact - the company they were working for was dead and buried which is why Aurea was able to acquire it in the first place. Their approach is aggressive and not easy, but it works.

Cons

Aurea holds employees accountable to performance based on metrics, something a lot of people are uncomfortable with. The company has a relentless culture of continuous improvement. The environment is global and virtual, which means most people don't work in offices
