Pros

The people I work with directly on my campus

Cons

District leadership can’t be trusted. They use gaslighting regularly. The budget deficit due to recapture is a constant threat hanging over everyone’s head . Huge departure of teachers due to either budget cuts or burnout adds to the already unrealistic workload of those who stay. Being a political punching bag for politicians who hate public education. In general, teaching has become a job you have to be willing to sacrifice your entire wellbeing for and because of that toxicity, the kids are who suffer.
