Pros

Everyone in the food service division is on the same mission. Feed the kids. Being a part of a non profit was wonderful

Cons

Pay makes no sense. They “loan” you money for your checks and time for vacation. Using your time is counted against your checks if you use it at the wrong time. If you get hired here, make sure you read the entire pay scale information. No one understands it, not even the people who are in charge of managing it

Pros

Kids are best part of the job, along with summers off and many holidays. I thought the HSA was great. I saved a lot of money in my HSA account and invested it. My coworkers were excellent and I enjoyed working with them.

Cons

-long hours, stressful, hard to get everything done in the time allotted…leads to lots of “overtime” at home on weekends. Professional development has gone downhill in recent years-pretty much all is online now, which is not very engaging.
