Do NOT work for them

Pros

Some of the colleagues were genuinely good people. However NONE of them were in the upper management.

Cons

"This will ONLY take 2 minutes." - my favorite line from the higher-ups. They constantly made me feel like I was worthless because they thought my job was easy and needed no effort. These people are bullies, liars, ego-driven "leaders" who only acknowledged and promoted their families and friends. They treated the rest of their employees with no respect and gave them no chance to express their opinions. Trust me, you do not want to work for a place that can't even show respect to others or let you grow while making you feel miserable everyday.

Pros

- Those who I did work with on a regular basis were wonderful people and I learned a lot from them

Cons

- Higher-ups do not care about professional growth for entry-level employees - Felt blindsided and misled during layoffs due to covid19 - Hiring process is absolutely horrible... It took 2 months from initial phone interview to receiving an offer letter - My direct report changed 3 times because there was internal "restructuring" - Toxic environment - Not paid enough in comparison to workload

Sadly rotten at the core

Pros

Made some great friends and appreciated working with some well known (although in some cases dying) brands. Pay was pretty good too. The fact that there could be upside was a good carrot.

Cons

Sold the dream of the sky's the limit and that thinking big in both ideas and execution will get you ahead. Unfortunately this is not the case - only family, and "friends of family" get ahead. Even if you bring in a lot of money, they will steal your deal and shun you. I have seen them use employees for their contacts, fire them, and then take the credit for the ongoing deals. On the brand side, I have seen some executives act unprofessional towards partners and vendors with full support of leadership allowing them to act that way. If you have a soul, it can uncomfortable to be in the same room. There is no vision, no mission, and no values. Tons of abusive meetings where leaders feel entitled to bully employees.
