Pros

Promoted fast Paid Training Team Inclusivity

Cons

Require lots of overlaps with kiddo to learn their behaviors. Training is very generalized so it is hard to apply it to the kids you will be seeing everyday.

Pros

No holiday pay, no pay if client is sick or come later after half hour, not much support given if need it as it depends on your supervisor, job environment can change pending on new director coming in.

We truly appreciate your dedication and commitment to helping our families. Thank you for your feedback about cancellations. Because we know the impact of cancellations, we’re actively piloting different programs to find solutions. At the moment, we do have many opportunities for our Behavior Technicians to work more hours, so if a person isn’t interested in working part-time, they have other options! Our goal is to offer our employees a range of scheduling options so they can work a schedule that suits their needs while still supporting our families. And while we aren’t able to observe every holiday, currently we do close our doors for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (and the day after), and Christmas Day. ALP is also mindful of how challenging the Behavior Technician (BT) job can be, which is why we do all that we can to support our employees, including providing benefits to those who don't work full-time hours. We offer benefits packages to employees who only work 20 hours per week, which most of our BTs can access. We encourage you to reach out to our HR team to review your elected benefits. There’s always a possibility they can help you take advantage of some benefits offerings you may not be aware of. Thank you again for all that you do for our families!
