This is a good place to start if you're looking for a job in the psych field and/or ABA field. Management is really awesome and communication is great!

Cons

The pay could be better but that's it!

We appreciate your passion and enthusiasm for the ABA field and love that you’re making a difference in the lives of our families. We agree working as a Behavior Technician is a great way to get started in the field of ABA! Especially if you’re majoring in areas like Psychology and Child Development, this could be a perfect position as many of our clients are looking for part-time hours. Currently, we review pay for all positions at least once a year to ensure we’re in line with industry benchmarks. We also try to provide scheduling flexibility to accommodate our employees’ personal lives. Again, we truly appreciate your feedback and will be sure to pass it along to the appropriate individuals!

We’re so happy to hear you’re receiving great support from your supervisor! That’s what we’re always striving for. We’re big believers in developing our staff, so you all feel prepared before entering client homes. This includes safety training. But if you’re in a unique situation, please reach out to your supervisor or Field Trainer for additional support. We appreciate the detailed feedback you provided. ALP knows the impact cancellations leave and we’re actively piloting different programs to address this challenge and find a solution. In the meantime, in the event of a canceled session, we encourage our employees to proactively communicate with their direct supervisor and client services to schedule makeup sessions. Thank you for the impactful work you do for our Utah families!
