Pros

Competitive wage, 2 weeks of training provided, and hands on experience with clients within the field.

Cons

It is a very isolating job since you are mainly with the client and their family a majority of the time. This leads the family to cross boundaries often as there is a lot of unsupervised time. The supervisor would come out every 2-4 weeks to check in with the progress and provide feedback. You are required to use your own phone to target data and the mileages are not compensated until your drive time is over 30 miles. The scheduler takes over a week to respond so requesting off of cases or finding new clients take awhile since you are constantly going back and forth.

Pros

Great place to start in ABA. Most people are friendly and they work with your schedule.

Cons

However, pay was low like $17 in 2020 and 21.50 when I left in 2022. Didn’t like the pay and for high turnover you’d expect them to pay more. Also, at the time they didn’t provide devices so my iPhone started losing charging power and wasn’t an Ike iPhone. The stipend for tech was $4 every paycheck which was every 2 weeks.

Pros

Decent Management Flexible Job Easy Interview

Cons

Weak Benefits - None for part time $1 Raise every 6 months that they claim you will get in training never happened. They finally implemented a new “promotion system” which is a 50 cent raise after every 300 hrs you complete as a BT with no disciplinary write ups or complaints in the prior 6 months. No support for obtaining RBT
