      More of a babysitting job. Only get paid your rate for clinical hours... you get minimum wage for all trainings

      Great people, lack of cohesion

      Pros

      My supervisor, trainer, BCBA, and other superiors were very welcoming and knowledgable, and will guide you through the process when they're there. Everyone in my team was collaborative towards advocating for our clients and instilling change on maladaptive behavior.

      Cons

      However, those superiors are rarely around; I saw my Supervisor about once or twice a month, and BCBA once every other month or so. So 90% of the time I'm out in the field alone and was not certain whether the treatment I provided was efficient or not. Also, there was lack of cohesion between Client Services and the parents of the clients. An appointment would be cancelled and I would show up for it anyway because I was not notified of the cancellation. An up-side to this, however, is that when these incidents happen, they still pay you for two hours of your service at your clinical rate.

      The people are okay, It's a good job for college students

      Not as advertised. Hours are wacky, can work 6 days a week and still not be considered full-time
