Thank you for your dedicated support as a BCBA at Autism Learning Partners. We truly value your impact as a Behavior Analyst and your clinical opinion is important to us. If you have ethical concerns, we’d definitely like to know more so we can work to correct any potential issues. If you haven’t already, please reach out to your Clinical Director or our HR team to share your experience. If you’d like help in getting your concerns heard, you can contact us at reviews@autismlearningpartners.com. Ethics is a critical pillar of our organization at ALP and we take accusations of ethics violations seriously. Thank you for dedicating your professional life to this field and allowing ALP to be a part of your journey.

Pros

Plenty of work available, ok pay

Cons

Was told I should pump my breast milk in my car and store in an ice chest in order to “accommodate” all of the required driving I did to keep up with my 20+ clientele. I am so sad I returned to work after I had my baby, I should’ve never went back. The stress was too great and the work/life balance was nonexistent, this took a toll on my health.

Thank you for your time and service at ALP. We appreciate your contributions to the company and the impact you made on our New Mexico families. Also, congratulations on becoming a mother! We truly hope you and your family are healthy and doing well. We can only imagine how stressful it might be to try and balance being a new mom while working in-home with clients as a BCBA. And it’s because of that, we strive to do everything we can to ensure that our staff is well cared for, and that work/life balance is a priority. For anyone in who feels overwhelmed we highly recommend speaking to their Clinical Director so we can help find the best way to support you. About lactation breaks and location, ALP’s policy is to make the reasonable effort to provide our employees with the use of a private space in close proximity to their sessions. We apologize that this accommodation was not met for you, but our HR team is already working to ensure this doesn’t happen again in the future. We also encourage employees in this situation to notify their Manager and/or Client Services if needed. Thank you again for all that you did for our New Mexico families and we wish you the best of luck in the future.

Pros

flexible hours, ongoing CEU's, mileage reimbursement

Cons

Too many cases, expectations for extra work without extra pay, big push from upper management to maximize contracts even when not supported by BCBA
