Pros

-benefits -salaried (market average) -some CEUs offered in the year -mileage reimbursement after the first 20miles one way for staff -PTO / paid holidays for full time staff -partial telehealth (some option to go in person quarterly) for BCBAs - temporary option for RBTs if sick and if the client qualifies for it -ethically ran overall

Cons

-punitive work environment -rarely positively reinforced by management -will only hear of billables you didn’t reach -high pressure -high turnover with RBTs and BCBAs -illusion of support by upper management. more support from peers -as bcba, you’ll write up/fire/conduct performance reviews for RBTs -bonuses are not competitive and are also not optional. It is phrased it as “if you do this, then you get X” but in reality you are highly pressured to do these things that should be optional -no upward mobility

Thank you for your time spent supporting our families throughout the Atlanta area. We understand how difficult your position can be which is why we work to support our staff as much as possible. We appreciate you calling out our competitive pay and benefits. We’re even able to offer certain benefits for those not working full-time hours. We know this position can be stressful at times which is why we encourage our people to always reach out to their supervisor or Clinical Director when they need additional support. We believe in the power of two-way communication between our employees and their managers. Thank you again for dedicating your professional life to the field of ABA and we wish you the best of luck!

The salary was good, for a program supervisor-non BCBA

Thank you for your dedication and commitment to helping our families. We appreciate your call-out on our competitive pay. We conduct research periodically to ensure we’re staying in line with industry salary trends. Diversity and inclusion are top of mind at ALP. We want to ensure both our new and current employees feel a sense of belonging. To support our goals, we created an employee-run DEI Council to champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across the company. This group of current employees help build understanding and reduce stigma and discrimination, by examining and recommending changes to areas like communication, training, and recruiting. Though our DEI council is still fairly new, we’ve already seen several important initiatives as a result of their work, including an employee intranet hub and a monthly DEI newsletter. We appreciate your role as a Behavior Technician and celebrate the lasting impression you and others have left on our families.
