Pros
Staff and upper management seem supportive and positive. Benefits are pretty decent, day goes by pretty fast.
Cons
Management gives false or non-existent feedback on performance. Branch manager gave me a positive review after only three weeks with the company, I thought I was doing well and was let go a week later. The pay is a joke for what your asked to do on a Dailey basis, this includes; lifting a ton of chemicals onto truck first thing in the morning than up and down stairs threw elevators etc. Overtime required pretty much everyday so don't make plans to do anything but go home and sleep after work. So your basically a service tech/salesperson/bill collector. Your encouraged to pressure patrons of the company to buy additional overpriced cleaning products, you the same person who threatens to disable the machine if the don't pay their bill...

Pros
Auto-Chlor has very competitive pay. If you are an ambitious, hard working person, you will be both praised and compensated for your efforts. The route position offers nearly 100% autonomy, so if you can effectively manage your time, you can be your own boss! The workplace culture is fun, laid back, and results oriented. It's not a "good ol' boys" union style workforce, you earn your own merits through success not hours worked. Everybody is a team-mate and a friend, the guys in suits upstairs included.
Cons
The work is not easy. There's a bit of a learning curve, and some days can be very long. Inversely though, some days can be short. It may take months to master the trade, but once you've reached your stride, it's very fun and rewarding.
