      Auto-Owners offers stability and consistency, opportunities for associates and a great work/life balance.

      Cons

      Auto-owners has a work life balance that works for my family, no cons that stand out.

      Company is stuck in 1985

      Pros

      They have never layed off a worker. Pretty impressive. If you are an underperformer, you can hang around getting average reviews, they will just give your work to a higher performer. You will all make about the same money.

      Cons

      Sr leadership completely out of touch. They lack outside ideas because almost all positions are filled internally. Once a person gets into leadership, especially higher levels, they seem to know better than to rock the boat.

      Base Pay is laughable

      Pros

      Hybrid work from home program is only perk

      Cons

      Base pay compared to industry standard is abysmal. Offering bonuses and profit sharing when the company is not profitable does not offset the base pay. The "training" is nonexistent, and they will tell you anything to get you into a position, and leave you to struggle to learn the job on your own. The stress is not worth the low pay.
