      They have Stable employment- no lay offs

      Cons

      In case anyone is wondering if they treat you like a human being- they do not. My husband is a current employee and they have just denied him funeral leave because a father-in-law is not considered immediate family. We have been married for over 25 years and he has been employed by Auto-Owners for over 20 years. The fact that they can be this flippant and cruel about a personal loss tell you everything you need to know about this company.

      Decent coworkers that helped out and assisted.... nothing else

      Cons

      *7 day work weeks *On call all the time *Managers that lied to you work responsibilities and hours *A toxic work culture that starts at the top with Whisnant and trickles down through everyone. I've worked for 5 carriers in my 25 plus year career and AO was a disaster on all levels *Low Pay
