      Pros

      Good secure job. I. Much more to offer at the home office in Lansing, MI. raises are small, vacation time and bonuses slowly get better and better with the longer you are there. Management at my branch was great, and well chosen. Straight 8-430 in underwriting, no more no less required. Benefits are great.

      Cons

      f you work in a branch not many vertical or lateral opportunities. Pay is very low on industry average and does not increase a lot over time. Extremely micromanaged.

      Pros

      A stable company that isn't going anywhere any time soon. You don't have to meet deadline after deadline in a high-stress and fast-paced environment. The people I immediately work with are great people.

      Cons

      What kind of atmosphere you experience here really depends on what group you're in. It can be great or it can be awful. The IT upper management doesn't in general know, or seem to care, about software development. They care about the business aspect more than the programming aspect. There feels like a big disconnect between management and the programmers actually doing the coding.

      Pros

      It was nice to know what time you were going to be out of work, everyone leaves at 4:30pm and everyone comes in at 8am. There is little to NO flexibility on work schedule. People are awesome to work with, without them it would not be worth it.

      Cons

      Management seemed a little two faced, they would say one thing to your face and then turn around and tell a group something totally different twisting it to whatever benefited them at the moment.
