Pros

You can generally make your own decisions on the claims (cause management is not sure what to do)

Cons

Zero training; management is not experienced i.e. you’re given the run around on getting any sort of answer; zero processes in place for simple tasks; you do everything as a CR (instead of separate departments like other carriers) for such little pay- subro, total loss, salvage, BI, litigation, mediation, theft, theft recovery, etc; you need several years of experience to succeed at this place and with that experience, you’re worth more- I believe 9-10 CRs quit the one year i worked here 2020-2021

Solid Career Path - Dated Corporate Environment

Pros

Great, hard working employees. Most of the management appears to care for their employees. There are always a lot of leadership opportunities. Solid 40-hour work week.

Cons

Salaries are far below industry standard and raises are laughable. You work here because you aren’t expected to work beyond 40 hours a week. Work/life balance is good. Their work from home program is also a joke. They don’t listen to their employees or appear to ever take into account what will actually retain young people or talent.

Good benefits, great history of company.

Cons

Growing too fast and moving people with no life experience into management positions. Some managers have never even done the job they are managing and cannot tell people how to do the job.
