Pros

• Great Profit Sharing • Christmas Bonus • 37.5 hour week • Pension • Great Health care package This Job is really for someone who wants to get comfortable with what they are doing and coast. Low stress but also little movement for people who are more ambitious. This may be a perfect job for some people.

Cons

Low pay and little movement or direction to management and no parallel career path to a senior role. The Senior role is basically an entry level position with little to no additional responsibly or compensation. Started at less than $40k a year, which I had family members literally laugh since I had a 4-year business degree. The culture is odd here, almost a robotic atmosphere with when to come in and leave for the day or lunch, no breaks are allowed. Not much flexibility when it came to appointments, depending heavily on how much you are liked. Hard work goes unnoticed and you are better off spending that time to make friends in higher places. They definitely value outside experience more than someone that has immense internal experience, and it shows with the compensation level.

Employees treated poorly

Pros

When I started I thought the companies was wonderful. Great benefits, retirement, vacation time and sick time.

Cons

My manager past away and they promoted within. This man tortured several employees for years. It was to the point they had to leave. Some left before the big bonus because he just made the employees feel worthless. Upper management knew what was going on and did nothing even after complaints.

Pros

Pension, health care is generous

Cons

Low Salary, poor upper and middle management, they don't promote you unless you are in the "inner circle" (same people get promoted to eachother's positions like its a carousel). Now I hear they expect you to work overtime and weekends without compensation, so say goodbye to the 37.5 hour work week. They pay $10k less than the market, and their excuse is because you have a pension. Math doesn't add up when you calculate how much money you are losing in salary in hopes of getting a pension when you retire, which may not even be available. I used to LOVE working for them, but enough was enough and they start penny pinching salaries and treating employees like dirt, like a North Korean sweat shop. It's a shame really, they had so much potential to be a great company to work for.
