      Pros

      Folks are very friendly and management is supportive and flexible. Exams are not required for you to keep your job or get promoted.

      Cons

      Pay and benefits are below the industry standard. The actuarial exam program in particular falls short compared to other insurers.

      Pros

      The benefits are fair. Profit sharing when it's available is good as are yr end bonus.

      Cons

      AO has become much like it's competitors in the corporate department. Everything is measured. and when it's busy, just keep pushing through. No rest and keep up with your task despite having and big increase in workload.
