Pros

great work, great people.. never a dull moment helping people try to figure stuff out on their own, then they clearly should not be working on their own vehicles.

Cons

none, much better than the last auto parts store i worked at. however i wish there was more of a dress code difference for the store manager, to make it clear to customers

Pros

Fun place to work, co-workers and managers are all pretty cool

Cons

Corporate pushes upselling like crazy. You could be the friendliest worker, customers could love you. You could do everything right. But if you dont sell bulb grease with a light bulb, ur the worst employee ever. God forbid you sell a battery and cant convince the customer to take the terminal protection grease. Another thing, their "checkout challenge", or special of the month. I understand the purpose of it..but dont advertise Gumout Injector cleaner, and put up a poster that shows why gumout is better than lucas, and then have Lucas be the sale the following month!

Pros

Most people are willing to work with you to accomplish a common goal which would benefit the company. It can be a cheerful place to work when things are going well - especially when the stock price moves upward. If you get the right boss, you will do well. If you don't, you might as well look for another job.

Cons

Some upper management is disrespectful and sometimes outright rude. Some upper management level employees are not only deceitful, but should be demoted due to their inability to lead. Turnover in some departments is outrageous because of the lack of respect given to their subordinates. The cult like atomosphere is stifling to creative thinking. The slogans and cheer are just words, not followed by anyone with authority.
