It was pretty disorganized. There wasn't a clear plan of what was going on, and. Management was all very young and just the people who joined early on and stuck around, so they had no real management experience. Team leads generally seemed to somewhat know what they were doing, but did a terrible job at bringing together their team of younger (recent grads) folks. There ended up being a lot of new grads and it wasn't clear how it was supposed to work, since there was a definite lack of knowledge.

I swear leadership is drunk half the time ive interacted with them. Communication is terrible. Task requirements are nonsense or just sound technical without saying anything. One of the leads has multiple complaints over sexism and yet still works here. Ive been sucked into one too many "hot or not" conversations than i ever thought i would in a professional setting. Ive listened to a "director of engineering" complain how they believe ivy league engineers are too snobby to be a culture fit openly at a pizza party. I watched another lead pubicly humiliate a new engineer's PR for what seemed like a personal vendetta than as professional criticism. The CEO gives me silent looks that makes me feel... uncomfortable. The Managers have openly complained about engineers and have once heard the CEO say "want him gone? Say the word" over what seemed like a minor social blunder. I feel like i work in a passive aggressive loony bin.
