Pros

Autosoft is a great place to work! There is a "family" feel with a small company focused on delivering an amazing customer experience. The team is supportive and willing to jump in and help at all times. Senior Leaderhsip is focused on providing a support and everyone works together to accomplish goals.

Cons

Selling software to dealerships is a very tough and challenging position requiring solid communication, persistence, and work ethic.

Pros

If you are naïve enough to believe leadership's empty words, you might expect real improvements. I never did, and I was completely right.

Cons

Communication is an absolute disaster, leaving teams divided and directionless. Coordination is so poor it creates constant confusion and frustration. Leadership blatantly lies about changes that never arrive, stringing employees along with false hope. The dishonestly is infuriating and demoralizing, poisoning any trust or morale that could exist.

Pros

There is truly some talented employees that understand the functionality of dealerships and how to help clients.

Cons

-CEO has the management skills of a bully. He can't grow employees or lead, he spends more time talking about his past and bashing other employees. -The software needs lots of updating, it's almost 40yrs old and very few advancements. -There is no teamwork! -Random price increases thrown on customers with no warning or details of the new price. -HR needs to be more supportive to employees and tune into the bullying they are receiving from management. -Employees are being pushed to meet unrealistic goals, and when asked for support or help with obtaining those goals. They are threatened by the CEO to be replaced with someone else that has been begging him for a job. No mentorship is given, just met with a threat.

It’s disappointing Glassdoor allows fake reviews to continue being posted. Autosoft has grown significantly over the past 16 months but we still have bad actors in the organization, unwilling to help us change the historical toxic culture. Instead, they are consumed with hurting others and industry jargon. The CEO has nothing to do with price increases, which are handled by tenured employees in the Finance department, under direction from the CFO. Autosoft prides itself on absorbing as much cost as possible for our dealers and passing on the bare minimum needed to cover our operating expenses. This has been Autosoft’s philosophy for nearly 40 years, and we will continue to do so to assist the dealers we serve in the low-volume dealer space to provide the highest value at the lowest cost. From a staffing perspective, Autosoft doesn’t have an executive team today and has been operating extremely lean with little to no change over the past 12 months. Your statement of “someone begging him for a job” are false accusations and are without merit. We are focused on the commitments we make to each other with every team member owning their individual roles, executing at a high level and playing to win as a team. As for our product, it’s important to clarify that Autosoft has been serving low-volume franchise dealers for nearly 40 years. The strength of our platform is in its stability, ease of use, and affordability for the dealerships we serve. Continuous improvements and feature enhancements are continuously being made, and those updates are driven by dealer feedback, not by chasing complexity that doesn’t serve our core market. Finally, on the subject of leadership: I’m not here to tell you what you want to hear, rather I'm focused on doing the right thing for both our team members and dealer clients. I am direct and believe in the potential of our people, the mission we serve, which is helping low-volume, rural dealerships compete and succeed. If that sometimes feels uncomfortable, it’s because meaningful growth often does. Anthony Belcher
