Pros

Avoid this company if you value your mental health and hope to grow in your career.

Cons

- Working here is one of the most stressful and toxic experiences imaginable - Upper management is completely out of touch and focused on control and manipulation instead of support - Leadership fosters a culture of fear and intimidation - Managers openly lie to employees and shift all blame onto staff when problems arise

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. I want to acknowledge your words, no one should walk away from a role feeling that their experience was “toxic” or that leadership only leads through fear. That’s not the culture we want to create, nor is it what we stand for as an organization. At the same time, I think it’s important to recognize that workplace culture is built from both directions, leaders and employees alike. We have seen that when team members bring positivity, accountability, and a spirit of collaboration, it fosters a stronger sense of contribution and teamwork across the board. As leaders, we take feedback like yours seriously and are continually working to listen better, support our teams, and build a culture rooted in growth and respect. But I’d also encourage you, and anyone in a similar situation, to reflect on how personal attitude, openness to feedback, and proactive communication can shape the day-to-day environment. A healthy workplace is truly a shared responsibility. I sincerely wish you well in your career journey and hope that your next role brings you both growth and fulfillment. Anthony Belcher

Fired For Asking For A Raise

Pros

I got a lot of experience from taking on projects after other employees left.

Cons

I worked here for over five years and steadily took on more roles and responsibilities. I asked for a raise before I took on an additional project and the CEO called me arrogant and fired me without severance.

This seems to be another fake review, as I know for a fact that no one has been here for five years and then let go after asking for a raise. Autosoft is extremely generous with compensation and conducts quarterly audits versus the market to ensure we are in the top 10% of the market. Autosoft historically has had a very toxic culture, and unfortunately, many team members were key contributors to the problem which leads to negative reviews on social platforms such as this one. We can’t fix what happened, but we can positively build a path forward, leading with integrity, doing the right thing for our customers' current state. Anthony Belcher

Pros

I don’t think that living with the fear of job loss counts as a positive. So, there’s nothing positive here.

Cons

The work culture is toxic and insanely stressful. People are terminated regularly, and the only question that comes to mind is who has the target on their back next. Please avoid working here if you prefer job stability. These awful people can fire you for no logical reason.

Autosoft is transforming our company to better align with the needs of our customers, and many legacy employees have been with us for 20 years. At times, we have been forced to make business decisions that have led to team members being let go, who were hired for a future state Autosoft, and we aren't there yet. Autosoft has suffered misalignment for years across the teams, and we are actively working daily to provide a better experience for our internal customers. Change is extremely painful, and at times, doing the right thing leads to tough decisions we don’t take lightly. That said, the reality of our size and the speed at which we are growing sometimes requires us to make difficult staffing decisions. These decisions are never spur of the moment but carefully thought through prior to any change. When we let people go, it hurts us as much as it hurts them, because we know that our employees are people who provide for their families and are relied upon by others. At the same time, we must remain fiscally sound to ensure that we can continue supporting the dealers who depend on us every day. If we don’t, we risk falling short for them, and ultimately for everyone who is part of the Autosoft community. Our commitment is to keep pushing forward, improving our culture, strengthening our business, and building an environment where our people feel supported, valued, and proud to be part of this company.
