Pros

Stock options make staying worth it until they vest. Managers are more flexible than the official policies require. Generally competent co-workers.

Cons

Pay is targeted to be below average. This is supposed to be balanced with a stock and bonus plan, but the stock option plan has been replaced with something that has less upside and the bonus plan requires a great year to make up for the salary. Benefits are below average, and getting reduced.

No Long Term View for IP Teams

Pros

Good for the SoC Teams. Working directly in one of the product teams is fruitful.

Cons

Hire and Fire Policy of management and improper handling of employees. Auxiliary units supporting the product teams are generally not treated with dignity. Better not be in one of them.
