We agree! Spending every day with hard-working, smart people is THE BEST. But our colleagues are more than that—they’re also kind, generous, thoughtful, innovative, energetic, fun, athletic, competitive, diverse, and more. Our people and our culture are the heartbeats of our organization. It’s hard to respond to your workload comment without knowing your role in the business. We can say that we have been busy, and that business is good. There’s no lack of work, but there are also tons of opportunities to learn new skills, work with new teams, or grow professionally at Availity. Our culture thrives when we find that sweet spot of balancing work and life, which is why we offer several personal and professional development resources to help you do just that. From unlimited PTO to step challenges, from Individual Development Planning to community volunteering, there’s something for everyone here at Availity. If your workload is an issue for you, please make time to talk with your manager. They can help you prioritize and map out your projects so that they’re more manageable. We are so glad that you enjoyed your time at Availity—we couldn’t agree more that we work with some of the best and brightest in the industry, and we love what we do. We even became a Great Place to Work-certified company in 2020. At Availity, we value feedback from our associates and use it to improve our processes and culture. Unfortunately, it sounds like you found yourself in a stressful environment of competing priorities. If you were still here, we would recommend that you set time with your manager to discuss your situation and if that kind of conversation didn’t prove fruitful, we’d ask you to share the feedback with your HR Business Partner or anyone in the management chain. We have an open-door policy and take action when we see themes. It sounds like this took longer than it should have and for that we’re sorry. If someone leaves Availity, we, we want it to be for the right reasons – a better opportunity for them or their spouse/family, a growth opportunity in an area that we don’t have at Availity, or maybe they want to change their career path. We don’t like seeing associates leave out of frustration; that’s why we encourage an open and inclusive dialog, so we can address issues head-on and try to make Availity a great place to work for everyone.
