Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for acknowledging our remote onboarding. As you can imagine, our HR and technology teams put a lot of work into changing this process during the pandemic, and they’ll be excited to see this!
Honestly, we can’t imagine how it feels to join Availity while fully remote—it’s probably a little strange. But please know that you are part of something bigger, and there are so many smart, talented people here just waiting to get to know you and welcome you to the Availity family. Hopefully, through our associate communications, Unplugged Video series, and interactions with your new team, you feel some connection and sense of our culture.
We can feel the pressure of taking those first calls in your advice to management—that’s completely normal. We try to offer the most comprehensive training we can on our products and processes so that associates feel prepared to handle the questions and requests that come in from the call center. However, no amount of training will apply to every possible scenario, and we’ve found that the best way to learn is by jumping in. We have people in place to support our new client service associates when they need help assisting callers, and we know that getting everything down takes time and practice. But we will share your advice with our client services leadership.
