Pros

Tech stack is pretty much raw open source. Open source documentation tends to be better written. Medium sized company with high visibility to leadership. Formal role progression documentation that allows you to know what is expected at the next level and can provide clear pathways to transition into other roles.

Cons

Privately owned so no equity.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to learn Type of work is interesting Fully Remote

This used to be an enjoyable place to work, but things have changed this year. Teams have been reshuffled for new projects, resulting in double the workload for individuals. This has also made it difficult to take advantage of the unlimited pto that Availty offers. Despite communicating these concerns to leadership, there has been no indication of plans to address this issue. Availity's motto is "If it feels like work, you're doing it wrong." Unfortunately, it has felt like an overwhelming amount of work for a while now, making Availty no different from other companies.
