High turnover rate, small company mentality, lack of orientation and knowledgeable upper management
Pros
Potential to be so much better. Big corporation with 8,000 employee but small company mentality that believes that they still in 90s
Cons
Avamere proudly posts its "core values" video all over its website, which couldn't be more hypocritical. There is no company culture, and it is mostly depends on the individuals style. With turnover that far exceeds the industry average, Avamere treats employees like nothing more than cogs in a wheel. Organization is top heavy, paying for large executive salaries, lack of orientation and knowledgeable upper management, no clear direction from management, no innovative culture, and all about the politics. Company runs short staffed and heavy work load, so you never cutoff and always behind with constant turnover staff. Senior management is penny wise pound foolish. Management thinks we are still in 90s, all decisions are micro managed driven from top and expected to be followed. Opinion of people below are not considered they are ignored or voiced down Micro Management, favoritism and a lot of small company mentality. Poor/ No leadership, hire inexperienced or cheap administrators. No training. No support. No accountability. No professionalism. Worst benefits in health care
