      Family oriented atmosphere, structure, allowed to grow and move up, we all work together as a team and one big family. Love my co-workers and my residents.

      There are always going to be cons at any place you work no matter what, so we try and make it as positive as possible thru the good and the bad times.

      Pros

      I love the team I have at Avamere Coos Bay. We love to laugh and have a good time while improving our quality measures and star rating for our community. The community we serve has limited resources and I am happy to serve and help our seniors.

      Cons

      None at this time. The home office listens to their employees and Admins and is always changing and even though people do not find change comfortable in healthcare it is needed nd I respect it when it brings quality care and outstanding customer service.

      Pros

      Started out in a management position, but was encouraged to learn and grow with my higher education. Avamere provided tuition reimbursement for me to gain my college degree, thus moving forward in the company in a new management position. They are very supportive of your dreams, and often ask what is there they can do to assist you with reaching them.

      Cons

      It is healthcare, so it is still strict on COVID precautions. But, that is to ensure the health and safety of their employees and patients.
