Staffing issues always

Pros

Sometimes the staff and patients can be reasonable and rewarding. The doctors at the non-Kaiser locations are wonderful to the nursing staff. Benefits are actually really good, Kaiser with virtually no $/mo.

Cons

Enormous responsibility under license threatens low staffing scenarios. Not always someone to replace you. About $20 less than a hospital.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We’re glad to hear you value the benefits we provide, including comprehensive health coverage. We also recognize the importance of adequate staffing and the challenges that can come with covering call-ins. We are continually reviewing staffing practices and looking at ways to support our nurses so they can focus on providing excellent patient care. Your feedback is appreciated and will be shared with leadership as we work to improve.

Pros

It’s clean, that is about it really. Friendliness is fake around these parts.

Cons

Do you miss high school? The drama, gossip, untrustworthy people, snarky comments and attitudes? Look no more, as Bend Transitional Care is the place just for you! They will let employees verbally attack other employees and not do anything after numerous reports! Everyone has a “better than you” mentality unfortunately instead of caring more about patients! There will be gaslighting from management, lies, people will spit on/or your personal belongings, ridiculously understaffed but won’t tell you. Work environment is hostile and not healthy. They will not approve time off as they’re short staffed constantly, and again won’t say so. You’re expected to have no personal life and be at their every beck and call. Long term employees are concerned about how management is only in it for the money. Taking in patients they do not have proper care or diet plans for ie- no diabetic menu. Super high turnover rate the few months I was there.
