Pros

I have only just started working for Avamere Transitional Care of Puget Sound. Though, I have worked for another Avamere building in the past. The vibe here is very friendly, energetic, outgoing, patient focused to the highest degree and so much more. The team is very collaborative with each other and open to ways to enhance our number one goal, which is to provide the best care for our residents. I am thoroughly enjoying my time here and cannot wait to see us expand and grow even more and be the best transitional care facility we can be for the community. I know that this facility is under new leadership and I for one, am loving the direction we are heading and proud to a part of that change.

Cons

I have not found anything yet. Every job will have challenges. It is dependent on you, your team and the leadership on how a company can overcome those challenges.

Pros

Great co-workers There’s flexibility with work Great for those ready to settle with what they do Great for entry-level individuals

Cons

Promised career growth but provide no training to grow career. Seems like there’s a bit of favoritism. Even when you’ve mentioned that you’d seek more challenges and ready to grow, when there was an opportunity, it was given to someone else that they clearly favorite. Not sure if they go by seniority when one person gets let go, or even put the position out there, but all of the sudden, the position is filled. Leadership isn’t great either. Communication is beyond poor! Does not seem to want to give annual raise so find ways to not prevent it. Doesn’t seem to support unpreventable medical leave. Benefits is not that great either. Took away wellness incentive, and not sure if there’s still discounts at health facilities. No paid maternity leave. PTO includes vacation and sick time as well.
