      Pros

      Avanade is a great company. They really mean it when they say training is important. If you are not growing in your knowledge it is your fault not theirs. It is a great environment with really good people.

      Cons

      Avanade has a long ways to go to achieve their 2020 plan. The average size of their project is very small. As a result there is a lot of churn. The relationship with the parent is inconsistent. Their application of policy is inconsistent as well.

      Pros

      For a company that is in business to make money, it's treatment of employees is very well balanced. Lots of company provided training. Not a lot of travel. Not up or out.

      Cons

      One has to be able to weather the rhythm of the business. New projects sometimes require you to train up but Avanade provides lots of training.
