Pros

The company attracts nice people due to its strong mission.

Cons

A lot of people think its going to be the ultimate place to work due to it being the mothership of Aveda but its a large corporation and therefore has great distance between those at the top that make decisions and those that see the need for decisions to be made. The pay is lower than it should be due to the perceived high desire to work here by many in the salon networks. I think its better to have the corporation work for me as a hairdresser in an independent salon than to actually work within the corporation.

Some of the people are really nice and helpful.

Cons

There are bullies who work there and upper management doesn't want to hear anything about it. There was one individual who was so rude I couldn't believe it! I told the CEO Dominique and her response was, "I hired him, not one I hired would be rude or ever do anything like that." Sure ok.
