Pros
The hospital management is truly supportive. There are many opportunities to expand skill levels and for advancement. Have never worked with a kinder, more genuine, and hard working supervisory team. The hospital was beautiful, the food outstanding, and the patient rooms and common areas were inviting and conducive to a therapeutic milieu.
Cons
The pay was lower than competitors, but working conditions made it well worth the difference. Unfortunately, there were a few jealous, gossipy RNs who tried to undermine promising new hires. Watched it happen to others, and it was the one reason I was glad to leave for travel nursing.
