Pros

Family feel, friendly staff, great location, hybrid environment, great work/life balance, great benefits, lots of support, extensive training, nice office for each person

Cons

There are no cons yet because it is a work at your own pace environment. However, if you don't hit your numbers, you will need to look for another job.

Pros

You have your own office and they have cakes/etc. for your birthday.

Cons

There are far too many to name but I really don't know how this company is still afloat. The environment is so toxic you can feel it in the air. I waited a while to write this review but the same feelings still surface when I think of them and how I was treated. I never knew who my manager was. One of the main people within the company (a female) would gossip to everyone behind their backs. I tried and I mean TRIED to do my job but I was constantly being told different things my job actually entailed. The recruiter assigned to me had never been in staffing so the candidates he'd give me to present to clients, etc., were not qualified in the least for the jobs I had from my customers. I was told pre-employment I would have the 'best' recruiters they had but instead was told to 'train' someone who had no idea what he was doing. One of my main customers had nearly 4 huge open roles and when I met the CEO for coffee they texted me during my meeting and it was borderline harassment. The CEO was so confused why my phone was blowing up and why I had to LEAVE an important meeting. Once I was let go from the job I realized what a toxic nightmare I was in and I was grateful to not be there anymore. Oddly enough, I ended up getting hired by one of the companies I worked with while I was at Avery Partners. They couldn't believe I was let go or treated the way I was. It was an abusive, immature, insanely fake atmosphere. I've placed nearly 12 very well paid candidates with my new company and I have a much better title/role with them so I am thankful to have Avery Partners out of my life for good. I am not the only one who feels this way about them, either. Many of the folks working there are miserable. It's sad, to be honest. Life is entirely too short to be with a company who takes photos in front of their logo sign-- telling people to SMILE and most hate the job and the company.
