Great Technology - Poor Management

Pros

The technology is cool and ground breaking, or was, now getting a little long in the tooth. There are some great things in the Labs, but management seem to dither over what to do with it. This could be a great company again and the HQ leadership is strong

Cons

Outside of the USA the regions build empires. If your face does not fit your out, it's a very political company. Management is very numbers oriantated and this is to the detriment of long term business relationships and potentially large projects. The company is trying to be something it isn't and moving into areas outside of it's knowledge base. The new hires do not understand th ebusiness as well as they should.

Pros

Great employees, wonderful products, great customers, creative industries to be in. The end product of working with customers was the best in film, video, and music. What could be better?

Cons

Lack of vision, abscent innovation, difficult market environment. Stagnation seemed to permiate the company even after several leadership changes leading to employee fustration.
