Avid creates products used by the best content creators around the world. Their products are are innovative and used by very creative people. They use the latest development languages, tools, and techniques for software development.

Cons

The expectation at Avid is to work hard to meet tight deadlines. Although they use the Agile Scrum method, there is a strong emphasis to deliver "committed" features.

I honestly can't think of any. They are able to pay their bills and payroll?

Cons

Where do I begin? Horrible management and managers, company has no direction at all, morale is lower than I thought it could ever go. Glad they got out of their financial brouhaha, but it's amazing to me they are still relevant and in business. I'd like to know what group(s) the people giving the optimistic reviews are working in. If you are desperate for a paycheck or looking for a miserable/dead end job, Avid is probably an OK choice...keep in mind they layoff people pretty often.
