Pros

Timely Payment, Allowing for exercise of both technical knowledge and customer service skill sets, Respectable amount of PTO, Generous compensation for certifications earned while on the job.

Cons

The labor is contracted, so the client may be considering what they are paying Avidex for you rather than what you are actually paid in how hard you should be working.

Tons of training opportunities (I was able to get all of my CTS RUs while working there), exposure to all sorts of systems/environments (law firms, universities, biotech facilities, financial institutions, software companies) and big name clients in Silicon Valley

Low pay, little opportunity for promotion

Decent Benefits. 3 weeks PTO and good Professional work environment. Also very good about training

Cons

Lower than average compensation. Heavily sales oriented. Most of the revenue goes to salesperson comission. Engineers are under compensated.
