I was laid off at the start of the pandemic. I was looking for a new job and position where I could start entry-level and could potentially grow. I found AVISP's job listing for a temporary practice coordinator at a medical office. Alana, the recruiter was extremely helpful and personable. Due to the pandemic, the hiring process was held over the phone, but it was a quick and thorough process. I appreciate Alana's help placing me at a UCSF site. I felt extremely grateful to land a temporary position that was accessible and provided me with consistent work, potential for a permanent position and good pay!
