Pros

I have been with Axcient for a year and can easily say that stepping away from a prior Fortune 500 company to work for this MSP-centered backup solution company has been one of the best decisions I have made career wise. Allow me to provide a few pros as to why I love working for Axcient: - Fast-paced environment has allowed me to strengthen my abilities to adapt and change to new processes - One's success and showcase of drive is recognized both financially as well as by outreach from Senior Leadership members. - Micro-managing is a thing of the past at Axcient. You have the ability to be much more independent on how you spend your day-to-day allowing your success to be highly dependent on your on personal desire for growth and success. - Your work is actually reflected in the success of the company making you feel less like a "cog in a machine" and more as an integral member of a passionate team that is all looking to see the company succeed. - Easy access to Senior Leadership is a huge plus. Along with a great work culture and like-minded co-workers. - Unlimited PTO and great benefits

Cons

- The only con I can think of is that this company is consistently evolving and change is practically inevitable. However, these changes are done to better the company and with a strong initiative to take a significant share of DR solutions in the backup marketplace.

Pros

Has wonderful potential to provide an amazing backup and /or file syncing solution/ product, IF they can ever get the products to work. YES, All of Them. Shadow Protect is the only solution that is very solid. Great PTO and family time. Medical benefits are top of the line. The salary and commission were great, but if you over-perform, you get laid off. So there is no reward for achieving and exceeding goals. Used to have a wonderful exec team. George Welborne and others pretty much forced to resign after the acquisition of Anchor.

Cons

As another reviewer mentioned, if you are not in the "Boy's Club", then you are stuck. Get ready to do some major butt kissing if you want to succeed. Prior to the Anchor acquisition, it was NOT like that. Kevin Hoffman has NO idea what is going on within his organization. He chooses not to be in the "know", and allows previous, defunct, Anchor employees to run the show. Efolder acquired Anchor, however, eFolder employees were forced to leave (so-called early retirement), fired, or laid off. Anchor employees have taken over the company, and again, Kevin does not care. Slowly, but surely, moving all positions to be CA based. That means ALL remote functions will be extinguished soon enough. The execs, nor management are honest, nor have the cojones to discuss YOUR future, or the future of eFolder with its employees, and will lie to you when asked questions. Company is now being run into the ground by money hungry heathens that do not care about eFolder's mission, or its partners. eFolder was once cash flow positive, but since the acquisition of Anchor, and its negative cash flow status, things really couldn't be worse, and now the partner's are suffering.
