Pros

Axios puts a lot of effort into building a good company culture. I was immediately impressed by the existence of several employee resource groups. There is a very clear rubric for promotion to different levels. Tech teams autonomously develop their own expectations and norms and write them down. Work/life balance is highly valued. If you're one of the last people in the office (at about 6pm), the people getting ready to head out will ask what's so urgent / remind you to go home.

Cons

I haven't found any yet.

Pros

Amazing leadership and transparency about the company goals. Get to work on a wide range of projects exposing you to the many pieces to a successful media company.

Cons

With a new company, you should be excited and ready to help work on things from the ground up.

Pros

Everyone at the company strives for Axios to succeed from the top down!

Cons

Axios is still a startup, which can sometimes create more work. Everyone is willing to help out, however, so typically this isn't a huge problem, and often times leads to interesting collaboration!
