      Pros

      Awesome opportunities, amazing colleagues, experienced and thoughtful leadership. Mission driven company with a clear vision for how to make the world a better place.

      Cons

      Turnover on the tech team has been tumultuous, but I applaud the team for their thorough process for hiring the right people as we backfill and grow.

      Pros

      The team at Axios is smart and motivated, the culture is transparent and morale is high. I've been given responsibilities and opportunities I wouldn't have imagined when I joined. All around a great career move for me and most of my colleagues.

      Cons

      The company is growing fast, but is pulling in a few directions (the website/newsletters, HBO, events, other revenue generators) which can be tricky, and we're currently in the in-between stage between a startup and a known quantity so there are occasional growing pains. But the future looks bright.

      Pros

      The culture here is top notch, and we work hard to maintain it by hiring skilled people with the right attitudes, hosting in-house trainings on various topics around diversity and inclusion, fostering safe spaces for individuals to express themselves freely in our Employee Resource Groups, and just encouraging colleagues to be good human beings through everyday interactions. Respect for others is highly regarded here!

      Cons

      Unused PTO doesn't roll over, but we do have Religious Holiday time off and sick leave, so that's something.
